Web design is my main occupation and I have been working in this field for over 15 years, so I have observed many different standards and practices as well as the continuing rapid growth of internet technology. Now that mobile has overtaken desktops in web viewing terms, it makes sense to create from a 'mobile first' perspective. With this and other techniques, I am able to create sites which are both responsive (device agnostic) and user-friendly. I aim to put the user first and provide a pleasant and fruitful user experience.
Many people are unaware that behind every eBook page is a page of HTML and CSS—the very technologies which build websites. As I have a very good grasp of HTML and CSS the whole world of eBook publishing is accessible to me. Coupled with my natural artistic flair and my graphic design training I design the covers, the back pages and all of the style and formatting of the book. I can produce your eBook in all formats required, and assist in your marketing strategy too.
The logo is probably the most important graphic your company or organisation will have. Its chief purpose is to identify your company amongst a host of others all vying for attention. Therefore, as a brand the logo has to help create positive emotional feelings of attachment that surpass your competitors. I am here to help you explore your own ideas of brand, identity and logo; and develop them into a flagship graphic.
Along with, and showcasing your logo, comes your business stationery. This may include business card, letterhead, envelopes, comp’ slip, invitations, posters, flyers and any similar additional stationery you may require. Having a company style will also dictate how your reports and manuals are styled and formatted. All of this creates the overall look and feel of your company and suggests professionalism and quality standards.
As we all know, attracting the attention of a prospective employer is something of a formidable goal. Having the right keywords in your CV will attract the search engine software and assure you achieve the next layer of filtering. When it comes to your résumé reaching human eyes, then a pleasantly designed and uncluttered CV is a definite plus. It may be all it takes in choosing yours over another’s document where there is similar content.
